HARDWARE INDEX
Store all of your outboard hardware for easy drag & drop functionality in the "Hardware Index". The PATCH APP allows a user to customize and store all of their outboard audio equipment into an easy to use searchable Index.
ADDITIONAL ACCESS
Right Click on any slot to access all your Analog Hardware in the Hardware Index right from the Active Routing Grid without the process of Drag + Dropping.
STORED ROUTINGS MENU
Create, Store & Recall various routing configurations in seconds. The PATCH APP Stored Routings Menu allows users to quickly Store active routings and recall them at any time. The Stored Routings Menu even has the ability to open the external storage folder right from the application so you can relocate Stored Routings to DAW session folders for better organization.
EDIT MODE: Select "Edit" in the Stored Routings Menu to choose a "Default Launch Routing" which will auto-populate every time you launch the PATCH APP Software or Drag+Drop to ReOrder your Stored Routings to your preferred Routing List.
QUICKSTRIP
Quickly recall your favorite routings with one single "click" thanks to the new QUICKSTRIP Feature! Setting up the QuickStrip is easy. Simply Right Click on any of the QuickStrip Selections or launch the Window from the Settings Menu.

CONTROLS & TOGGLES
Quickly Bank through available Paths, Mute/ByPass the entire Active Routing Grid, Clear single or all active paths for new routing opportunities, Confirm your PATCH APP Software is communicating "Host Signal" with your PATCH Series Model Hardware &/or engage the front Inputs & Outputs right from the PATCH APP plus so much more. This bottom section of the app allows the user to quickly control important parameters of the PATCH Hardware while on the fly.
ACTIVE ROUTINGS GRID
The grid is where your creativity begins... Near limitless possibilities reside in a simple & familiar grid layout. If you feel like the Active Routing Grid looks like your DAW's plugin section.... then you are ready to route!
PATH NAMES
Customize Individual Path Names by simply Right Clicking on any Path in the Active Routing Grid. Each Path Label is also saved in the Stored Routings Menu for later recall. This feature keeps your analog routings more organized when recalling routings during sessions.
ACTIVE ROUTINGS
The Active Routings section of the PATCH APP is where a user can setup and visually see their signal flow. Using the simplicity of Drag & Drop or Right + Click functionality, a user can select and drag any piece of analog hardware from the Hardware Index into a Path to create their desired signal flow combination. Designed based upon the visual concept of most DAW layouts the PATCH APP Activate Routings grid immediately becomes a familiar feel & sight when using the the PATCH APP Software.

PATHS
ITS ALL ABOUT SIGNAL FLOW
What are Paths? Paths are simply your signal flow when it comes to the PATCH APP Software integration. All Paths or signal flows are arranged vertically from top to bottom. For instance in the example next to this description, the green arrow indicates the default signal path as in this case Converter (Out) > Compressor > EQ > Compressor > Converter (In).
Users can easily Drag & Drop replacements over existing active Digital Racks to replace them with different pieces of analog hardware. You can take Paths a step even further and add advanced Multing capabilities... Learn More
MULTING
MULTING WITH THE CLICK OF A MOUSE
Advanced Multing? Absolutely! The PATCH Series users can simply click the Arrow located to the right side of any active Path to begin the "Multing" process.
Wait a minute...What about impedance load issues that come with traditional multing?
Forget about it... Using PATCH's advanced multing capabilities any signal Multed off the original source is unaltered and has no load issues. Mult to your hearts content without any guilt of split signal quality loss.

POWER ON-BOARD
48V Phantom Power Included right on board. Why 48V built into the PATCH Series?
Well because through various testing phases with traditional patch bay options, nearly all patch bays would either not carry Phantom Power stably or showed results of significantly under powering connected microphones.
We decided to take the PATCH Series one step further and build 48V Phantom Power right in the system.
Now you can power your favourite condenser microphones or dB Boosters the way they were intended to be powered.
Note: The PATCH Series is a +4 Line Level Design that may require additional level adjustments for some Mic Level (-40/-60 dBu Devices). See the Flock Audio PATCH Manuals for further reference.
HARDWARE SETUP MENU
Manage all your new & existing analog hardware right from the Hardware Setup Menu. Remember templates, printing & cutting out labels? Forget about them forever...the PATCH APP allows you to quickly rename & re-arrange your analog hardware while keeping it organized right in one simple customizable menu.
POWER MEETS FLEXIBILITY
48V Safeguard - Allow or Deny the ability to enable 48V on any Input connected to the PATCH System. Keep your other investments safe from mistakes & accidental 48V.
Link/Unlink I/O - By Default PATCH will assume your Input & Output are connected to the same piece of analog hardware...but maybe they're not? You can Unlink these I/Os by clicking the Lock icon so they can be designated separately for your preferred configurations.
Stereo Pairing - Pair any number of consecutive channels together for simple "Buss" or multi channel processing. Pairing channels together allows you to treat L-R or Multiple Channels as if they were one single Digital Rack Space. By-Pass, Rearrange or Remove Paired Channels with with ease while adding even more flexibility to your workflow.
Import/Export Hardware Lists - Travelling to another studio that has a PATCH Model? Simply, have their engineer export their hardware list, Import it into an offline session of the PATCH APP and learn the gear you're working with while setting up your routings before you even step foot into the studio for your session. Plane rides are boring anyways right? You might as well get a jump start on your session!
USER PREFERENCES
CUSTOMIZATION
&
PATCH APP 3.0 adds a new level of User Preference and Customization options to the already highly acclaimed PATCH APP Software. As unique as your craft and gear choices are... is as unique as your PATCH APP Interface should function within your workflow.
ROUTING MULTIPLE UNITS WITH EASE.
Routing and indentifying multiple PATCH Systems for expanded I/O is easy. Simply setup designated Input & Output Passes (or Sends & Returns) with your corresponding analog connections in the rear of the chassis between the PATCH Models in order to move analog signals freely between units. Each PATCH Model is identified by user customizable coloured outline.
In the example to the right, we have 2 PATCH Models based upon the coloured outlines (Blue & Red). With an Interface (Output) connected to a Compressor all identified in Blue, followed by seeing the signal from PATCH Model #1 to PATCH Model #2 for further analog processing into EQ (Red) then returning back into the 1st PATCH Model.
Between these analog hardware routings in the Active Routing Grid you will see Send & Receives Passes. These Passes allow the user to move analog signals from one PATCH Model to the next while setting up your preferred signal flow.
